Here we have a rather tired and battered 3 1/2" gauge Martin Evan's Juliet. We have however tested the boiler on this little beauty, (!), and she passed! She can come therefore with a full 4 year hydraulic certificate, and is essentially complete and ready to fettle back into a runner. Obviously she's been a running loco, but at some point times have turned tough!
We've had the loco in bits, to have the boiler off and do a proper inspection both top and bottom, and although scruffy the basics of this engine are sound enough to push forward back into a decent runner. Most of the bits are there, certainly all of the important stuff. A bit of plumbing and the odd little fitting and you'll be back on track.
